ISM 40th Anniversary Scholarship Program
For 40 years, Tthe International School of Minnesota has inspired curious learners, nurtured global citizens, and built a community grounded in big hearts and bright minds. To celebrate this milestone, we are proud to offer a limited number of 40th Anniversary Scholarships—designed to expand access to an ISM education and invest in the next generation of leaders.
Anniversary Scholarship Opportunities
In honor of ISM’s 40th year, the following awards will be granted to outstanding applicants:
- Two Full-Tuition Scholarships
- Two Scholarships Covering 40% of Tuition
These awards recognize students who demonstrate academic promise, curiosity, character, and alignment with ISM’s mission and values.
More Than Four Awards: Additional Support Available
While the anniversary scholarships are limited, they are not the only financial support options available.
Applicants who apply for the 40th Anniversary Scholarships can also be considered for:
- Additional partial merit-based scholarships
- Taiylor Nunn STEM Scholarship

Families who are not selected for a full or 40% anniversary award may still qualify for other forms of support.
Who Should Apply?
The 40th Anniversary Scholarship Program is open to students who:
- Are entering Grades 6–11 for the 2026–27 school year
- Have a GPA of 3.2 and above
- Value community, character, and global citizenship
- Submit an essay of at least 500 words explaining how an ISM education would impact you and what you would do to impact the community.
- Sign their enrollment contracts and pay the $750 registration fee by 11:59 p.m. CST on Tuesday, March 31.
Students who are driven, community-minded, and ready to make an impact at ISM are encouraged to apply.
If Awarded an Anniversary Scholarship:
The student must:
- Actively be involved in at least two competitive extracurricular activities at ISM (sports, math, robotics, theater)
- Participate in SABIS Student Life Organization®

How to Apply
- Complete the 40th Anniversary Scholarship Application (click the button below) by
11:59 p.m. CST on March 31. - Submit all required ISM application materials and contract by the posted deadline.
Selected recipients will be notified by Wednesday, April 15, and recipients must accept the scholarship by Wednesday, April 29.
