As we continue to grow across the Twin Cities and beyond, we’re proud to reward employees who help bring new families into the ISM community.

Employee Referral Benefit

Current ISM employees are eligible to receive a $1,500 referral reward for each new family they refer who enrolls at ISM. 
*New for the 2026-27 school year, the family referred will also receive $1,500 off their tuition for the first year.

You may choose:

• A $1,500 account credit (if you have enrolled dependents), or
• A $1,500 taxable referral bonus payment

The reward is issued once the referred family successfully completes their first term of enrollment.

How the Referral Program Works

1. Refer a family who is new to ISM 
2. The referred family must name you in their completed electronic application
3. Once the family completes their first term, your referral reward is processed

Please note: If the referring employee is not listed at the time of application, the tuition reduction or bonus cannot be applied.

Important Details to Know

• The referral amount is prorated based on the portion of the school year attended
  (For example, a mid-year start would result in an award of approximately $750.)
• Employees with enrolled dependents must first apply the reward according to the ISM Family Referral Program tuition reduction policy
• If your tuition balance is paid in full, you may opt to receive a taxable payment
• Employees without enrolled dependents may receive the reward as a taxable payment
• Your employment status must be Active at the time the referral reward is processed
  (Inactive status will result in forfeiture of the reward)
